This location is very easy to find and the service here is on point. I have been more recently for lunch, although dinner is also a fun experience and their menu is very extensive.
I noticed the level of detail and creativity that goes in to each dish, from the Nasu Miso, grilled eggplant, brushed with Miso sauce on top, to the Kalbi Ribs served on a tiny iron dish inside a wooden holder. I specifically recommend the Baby Halibut, served in a bowl made from it's own fried body! The ponzu sauce is an excellent addition along with fresh herbs.

I have been in attendance often to this restaurant since age 11 when I first moved from the El Cerrito, CA to Torrance, CA. Usually for family functions and small get-togethers, our family would order in groups, 3-4 of each small-plated delicacy. We would enjoy them almost immediately, without ever having leftovers. A great spot to take friends for lunch as well as dinner, with a balanced assortment of delicious recipes and flavors.
