Artisan Spaghetti with a Japanese twist. Within the world of Japanese cuisine, there are few topics left untouched. The level of commitment to quality, customer service and overall approach to Italian cuisine are on point and far above the average standards set by other establishments.

Ok, so at first glance this place looks tiny, a literal 'hole-in-the-wall', which for me means they know what they are doing and have been for a good while. I used to walk into small establishments like this thinking or even wondering if they would ever expand until one day I realized, this is the ultimate business model. Cheap, experienced and comfortable making great food. Not only was the seating plentiful and the food delicious but the warm bauguette which accompanied my meal was a great accoutrement. In addition all the appropriate sides were available (Parmesan, Red pepper and Cracked fresh pepper).

Since my first few times eating it at home and with family I have always considered pasta a communal and family-oriented food. Not only does it require a bit of extra finesse to use a fork and spoon to eat (or for all the minimalists just a fork by itself) but it is an age-old example of how fusion between cultures (and cuisines) works, and should be appreciated when done properly.
