Variety at a bargain! A bit of everything there is to offer in a neat, compartmentalized box. Without a shadow of a doubt, this may be the most value offered per dollar in a Bento at a Restaurant in the South Bay.

(Gardena) Japanese

1st Thing You Need To Order: The Daily Bento, A unique assortment of small dishes, paired together in synchronicity for a balanced meal. (A tribute to the chef!)

Ordering system: (Cash Only) Order first at register, then wait at table to be served.

I can't get tired of visiting this place. I refuse to. It may be located in a far corner of Gardena, yes, but the flavors are vibrant and the atmosphere comfortable. As you walk in you may notice the walls are decorated with an assortment of a local photographer's work, giving it an art-studio type of feel. Food is brought to the table by cheerful servers and customers must 'bust their tray' and cups once they finish their meal. This place is great for bringing a friend for lunch and is so convenient, occasionally I order their items à la carte.

Bento Boxes have influenced the methodology in which I prepare my lunches these days, also they help understand how to solve problems with portion control. A sort of 'painter's palette' of small unique sides and dishes which, as a whole, combine for a very balanced meal. I have shown up on just about every day of the week (except Sundays because they are closed) and I enjoy the variety of ingredients they have to offer. If you decide to visit, be sure to leave a tip for the hard working servers creating and curating an amazing Bento experience.
